Pipeline Magazine, Hong Kong Issue 37 July/August - Out Now!

Pipeline is a brainstorming platform for artists, art researchers, curators and art lovers, with an open mind and room for dialogue; committed to serious art-making but not elitist.

Every year one issue is dedicated to showcasing new photographic practices from around the world in The Photography Annual. I was lucky enough to be one of two artists representing the UK. The Annual includes work from my Art Drag Album and Extended Family Album projects.

'Hey, Narcissus!' Studio1.1 London - 9th August to 15th September 2013

Private Views 8th and 22nd August and 5th September

Called back from the brink, artists who bring the self-portrait into question; a metamorphic dialogue between Narcissus and Echo. The show, over six weeks, will evolve from clear self-absorption to tentative steps back into the real world and away from mythopoeia.

The line up of artists in the show will slowly change each week, I'll be showing in the first and last weeks (Most self-absorbed and least self-absorbed?) So the PV on 8th of August will be the best to see my work! I'll show different work in my two outings; probably new Nigel Doll sculptures, followed by new photographic portraits.
